#MX Records
MX (mail exchanger) records are DNS records that tell other servers where to deliver e-mail for a domain. Each record has a priority value, and lower numbers are tried first. Wrong or missing MX records mean that incoming mail bounces or disappears, while stale records can send mail to an old provider. Domains that never receive mail can publish a null MX record to say so clearly. The articles under this tag explain how MX records work and how to check them.
